Dear customers and business partners
We warn of an upcoming demonstration organized by truckers, which will take place on 15th of May in Denmark.
Demonstrations are due to an agreement between the government and several parties, where a surcharge will be introduced for trucks that drives on petrol or diesel. The surcharge will add an average payment of DKK 1.30 per kilometer driven. This is planned to start on January 1, 2025.
The truckers are planning to block at junctions such as roundabouts and approaches to highways.
We do not yet know the consequences of this, but are following the situation closely, and will inform you further if it causes inconveniences for your transports.
