Hurricane season in the US

Supply chain disruptions are to be expected

27. August

As hurricane season in the USA has started, please note that the weather situation may affect your supply chain in the coming weeks and months.

Currently, Hurricane Laura is approaching the shores of Texas and Louisiana, and the extreme weather expected has led to closures and evacuations.

The Port of Houston recently released tentative shutdown plans in preparation for the hurricane, which is expected to be a category 3 or 4. At the same time, airports in Miami, Houston, and New Orleans warn of operational changes.

Please contact your local LEMAN representative, if you have specific questions about how the weather situation may affect your shipments.
