Contributes effectively in the daily battle against Covid-19
With the Covid-19 pandemic also comes new habits and daily routines. We use hand sanitizer and clean surfaces like never before. Something that has also been noticed at the Danish company BACTITOX, led by Vinther Singh, which produces and distributes high-quality private label disinfection products.
“We have been overwhelmed by the massive demand that arose in the wake of covid-19 and have all worked almost around the clock to keep up. It pretty much exploded from one day to the next, and today we sell our disinfectant products to supermarket chains and wholesale companies in large parts of Northern Europe and the Nordics, ” says Vinter Singh, owner of BACTITOX.
Like a gold rush in the wild west
One of the company's major headaches was the many myths and misconceptions that abounded about disinfectants in the beginning. At Bactitox, they were annoyed by the fact that the market was characterized by individuals trying to make a quick buck at the expense of safety and efficiency.
“At one point, it was a bit like a gold rush in the wild west, where some people tried to profit from the situation by selling highly questionable disinfection products. Therefore, I had to invest some time, in the beginning, to explain that our products fully complied with the applicable requirements and that I had the right certifications and standards,” says Vinter Singh and points out that BACTITOX has also already started the work of getting the allergy and eco-label certifications for the entire product portfolio.
A tough world market requires the right insight
Vinter Singh and the team also had to contend with an extremely pressured world market where the usual trade corridors suddenly were disrupted. At BACTITOX, they therefore quickly realized that they needed help with the logistics, as the market was almost impossible to navigate in.
